INTRODUCTION

We aim to realise future space transportation systems for reliable and economical access-to-space and advanced space missions by thoroughly understanding physical phenomena and employing state-of-the-art design and optimisation methodologies in multidisciplinary and system engineering approaches. Our key focus areas include space transportation using advanced propulsion technologies, e.g., scramjet propulsion, combined cycle engines, electric propulsion systems, as well as challenging space missions including deep-space (lunar, interplanetary) missions, human space travel and rendezvous missions.
